About Iris Marie
Iris Marie is a French visual artist Paris, whose practice explores the intersection between matter, memory and emotion. Educated in art science and philosophy at La Sorbonne, Paris, and trained in both classical and experimental techniques across Italy and the U.S., she brings a uniquely international and multidisciplinary sensitivity to her practice.
Her work is deeply rooted in an embodied, intuitive relationship with materials. Her process often begins with observation and absorption until a moment of urgency arises. From there, creation becomes intensely physical and immersive. Each piece is an act of transformation of what moves beneath the surface of things.
